The IFA Berlin has already kicked off, and today it is Lenovo's turn. The company has presented a series of products ranging from laptops to tablets, through Smart Home systems. Within the range of laptops we find the Lenovo Yoga S740 , a laptop with smart features that, in addition to having a series of productivity-oriented features, is compatible with Alexa 4, Lenovo Smart Assist and Project Athena 2 to save time in mechanical tasks. The laptop comes with an optional 4K display, 10th-generation Intel Core processors, and Windows Hello-compatible cameras.
14-inch screen and aluminum chassis for a premium finish
The design is probably one of the aspects that stands out the most from previous generations of the Lenovo Yoga series.
With a chassis made entirely of aluminum and a backlit keyboard in the same color, the Yoga S740 has a 14-inch screen that starts from a Full HD resolution and reaches up to 4K resolution . Both resolutions, yes, are compatible with the reproduction of content in HDR10 and Dolby Vision 9. The laptop also adds a 15.6-inch screen option with the same resolution settings as the 14-inch model.
Returning again to the aesthetic section of the equipment, the chassis of the Lenovo Yoga S740 has a thickness of only 18.7 millimeters and a weight of 1.4 kilograms in its 14-inch version . To this is added a Dolby Atmos Speaker System sound system thanks to its two speakers and a webcam with a ToF sensor compatible with Windows Hello, Microsoft's system that allows access to Windows 10 with our biometric data.

Beyond the design, the main novelty of the Lenovo Yoga S740 compared to its predecessors is found inside its chassis.
With 10th generation Intel Core i5 and i7 processors, the manufacturer promises up to 14 hours of continuous video playback thanks to the manufacturing process of the processors. If we talk about the 15.6-inch model, it has options that lead us to a ninth-generation Intel Core i9 and Nvidia graphics cards; specifically, the Nvidia GTX 1650 .
Artificial Intelligence as a form of interaction
A compendium of intelligent functions such as those described at the beginning of the article are added to the entire notebook. And it is that in addition to being compatible with Amazon Alexa for the dictation of orders, the computer has proprietary software from Lenovo that allows us to automate certain operations to reduce execution times.
Thanks to the IR camera that integrates the laptop, the system will be able to detect our absence and close the session automatically without the need to intervene manually. This function is replicated in aspects such as video playback or video calls, which focus attention on the user to blur the background and thus avoid the intrusion of other people.

Regarding the price and availability of the computer in Spain, the company has announced that the two versions of the laptop will begin to arrive in Spain from November. They will do it for a price that starts from 1,300 euros in the case of the 14-inch model and from 1,300 euros in the 15-inch version.
