Sony introduced its current flagship, the Xperia Z2 , in February of this year. The device is one of the most advanced Android smartphones of the moment and rubs shoulders with other equipment such as the Samsung Galaxy S5, the HTC One M8 or the recently introduced LG G3 . It has a very wide FullHD screen , a very powerful processor and one of the most complete cameras that can be found. As you know, the previous model is the Sony Xperia Z1 , which was presented at the IFA fair in September last year. The company launched a more compact editionof this model for users who prefer a handy device. We are talking about the Sony Xperia Z1 Compact , an edition practically traced to the original model but with a 4.3-inch HD screen . The Japanese brand has launched a model in Taiwan whose technical profile has just been exposed and is quite close to what the Sony Xperia Z2 Compact could be .
The device has been launched in Taiwan exclusively under the name Sony Xperia Z2a, but until now its full specifications were not known. Finally, Sony has published the complete list of specifications and it sounds quite similar to what the Sony Xperia Z2 Compact could be , although it remains to be seen if they will launch it globally or it will only stay in the Asian country. This time the screen decreases only 0.2 inches and stays at 5 inches , which is not exactly a compact size. The panel has FullHD resolution and concentrates 440 dots per inch.The company maintains the systems of the rest of its high-end products, we refer to the TRILUMINOS technology , the X Reality engine for mobiles and the Bravia Mobile Engine 2, all of them designed to improve the quality of the images.
Continuing with the technical profile of the Sony Xperia Z2a we find the same processor as its older brother, which is none other than a 2.3 Ghz quad-core Snapdragon 801, accompanied by an Adreno 330 graphics chip and 3 Gb of RAM memory . . Also replicates camera with Exmor RS sensor 20.7 megapixels and a size of 1 / 2.3 inch. This model's camera also comes with the bundle of features that came with the original model, including superior auto mode, AR filters, and a background blur tool.
