Huawei with Android 6.0, mobile update calendar

Honor-7-01

It is one of the most anticipated updates of the moment, but the truth is that it has not yet been massively deployed. So much so that the only users who are already enjoying Android 6.0 are only the owners of the Nexus , teams developed under the Google umbrella . But what about the rest? Some manufacturers have already begun to make their roadmaps public, but the truth is that at this point there is still a lot to be done . Today we want to announce all the news that are known about the update to Android 6.0 for the different members of the Huawei catalog, one of the most popular Asian manufacturers in recent times. Not surprisingly, it has practically managed to take third position on the podium of the brands that sell the most. If you have a Huawei smartphone in your pocket, what comes next interests you.

Marshmallow

In late October, Huawei announced that it would begin testing Android 6.0 for the Honor 7 in just four weeks. This makes us think that the first to update will be the owners of this team, although for now there is nothing definitive. We know, because Honor itself has announced it in India , that the owners of the Honor 4c, Honor 6, Honor 6 Plus and Honor 7 will start updating from February 2016 . Luckily, we also have a list of those devices that have already been confirmed for the update. They are as follows:

  • Huawei Honor 7
  • Huawei Honor 6+
  • Huawei Honor 6
  • Huawei Honor 4X
  • Huawei Honor 4C
  • Huawei 7I
  • Huawei P8
  • Huawei P8 Lite
  • Huawei Mate S
  • Huawei Mate 7
  • Huawei Ascend G7

The only equipment that has not been confirmed for now is the  Huawei Ascend P7 . We'll see later if you can get the Android 6.0 Marhsmallow honeys or if you have to settle for an older version instead . No date has been set for the other phones, but everything suggests that if the first updates are scheduled for February 2016 , none of the other teams can receive Android 6.0 before that date. Be that as it may, we will remain attentive to inform you about everything related to deadlines, trial periods and launches.

The update to Android 6.0 Marhsmallow for all devices will bring with it important improvements in the performance and security section. On the other hand, it will also have the improved Google Now On Tap system  and a considerable increase in battery performance (thanks, in part, to the so-called Doze project that is responsible for turning off all those processes that are not used and that consume too much energy ). In addition, it includes a lot of options to make the user experience more comfortable, such as more practical volume controls, more comfortable copy and paste functions or compatibility with fingerprint systems.
