Have you already made the 2016 income tax return? If you have not yet got down to work, you should know that for a few weeks, the Tax Agency has open all the mechanisms to do it. In fact, you have time until June 30.
Until then, you will have the opportunity to gather all the necessary paperwork and with it, present the documentation through the Internet . It is the fastest system, but if you are from the old school, you may prefer to make the declaration at the Tax Agency's own offices.
In this case, you should know that you will have to make an appointment first. So, if you plan to go to a tax office, you will have to request the date and time first. We tell you how to do it, in a few simple steps.
Make an appointment for 2016 Income through the Internet
1. If you want to make an appointment to file the 2016 Income Tax return, you will have to wait until May 4. Whichever system you choose, you won't be able to do it until then. In any case, all you will have to do is access the 2016 Income page.
2. All you have to do from here is enter the NIF / NIE or electronic DNI number with which you are going to file the return. You may also be asked for other information, such as your last name. They will also ask for the reference number.
3. If you don't know how to request the reference number, we will quickly tell you how to do it. This code will serve you throughout the rental campaign, so we recommend that you request it as soon as possible . Click on Obtain the reference number.
Then you will have to enter the information in box 440 of Income 2015. You will find it on your income tax return for last year . If you can't find it, here we tell you where to find it.
4. If you have an electronic DNI, electronic certificate or with the Cl @ ve PIN code, it will still be easier for you. And it is that you will not need to rummage through documents.
5. Once identified as a taxpayer (through whatever mechanism) you will have to make an appointment . You can do this by selecting an option within the limits of the first column of the table.
6. When you finish, you will get a confirmation. On the day and time assigned you will have to go to the offices of the Tax Agency that correspond to you. There you can present the 2016 Income tax return. If you want to make an appointment to do any other management not related to 2016 Income, you will have to do it separately.
Make an appointment for 2016 Income by phone
If you prefer to make an appointment by phone, you can also do it. You have two numbers enabled to do it. You can call from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and from Monday to Friday . You will always have to indicate your NIF / NIE to identify yourself.

If you do not want to make an appointment, but want to request help by phone, you can also do it. For that you can call the RENTA ASSISTENCIA telephone (Call us whenever you want) . The service is available from April 5 to June 30, with the possibility of calling between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Another interesting option is the RENTA ASISTENCIA telephone number (the AEAT calls you) . You will have to make an appointment (date and time) for the AEAT to call you by phone. You can arrange it through the Internet. From then on, you will receive a call and you can ask the questions you consider appropriate.
