It is called Nokia 6303 Classic and it is perfect for those who want a mobile to talk and little else . And the reason for this launch is that the maxim "renew or die" also applies to people looking for that simple and stylish phone. That's why Nokia doesn't just design mega-devices like the Nokia N97 . It also renews more modest terminals that combine good design with basic features . The Nokia 6303 Classic is the new version of a classic like the 6300 . With a slightly more rounded design , some camera improvements and avery reasonable price , the new 6303 is, again, the answer for those who want a modern mobile but that does not complicate their life.
Externally, the Nokia 6303 Classic maintains many features of its predecessor . The new terminal maintains the thickness but is a little wider and longer (108.8 × 46.2 × 11.7 mm) . The extra microns are offset by a rounded design that makes the phone more attractive and comfortable in your pocket . The housing keeps steel as the base material and weighs only five grams more than the old 6300 (96 grams) . The terminal is candybar or bar type and the buttons maintain a soft relief that makes them comfortable to the touch. The layout is the same as its predecessor.

The TFT also has slightly expanded until 2.2 inches and maintains the resolution of 240 × 320 pixels . The camera , however, if it has undergone a major improvement to the passing of two megapixels of the 6300 to 3.2 while maintaining the 8x digital zoom . The 6303 Classic also incorporates the effective double LED flash that the Finns are integrating into all their cameras. The focus is automatic and the software allows various scene modes and effects, as well asVideo recording in VGA (640 × 480) with a maximum of 15 FPS and 4x zoom .
Power
The internal memory of the device has been expanded from the 7.8 of the 6300 to 64 Mb dedicated to storage plus another 32 of dynamic memory to operate. The phone maintains the MicroSD memory card port that has been improved to support memories of up to 4Gb , more than enough for taking photos and videos, or listening to MP3.
Multimedia
The audio section continues to be compatible with mp3, aac, mp4, AAC +, enhanced AAC +, H.263 and H.264 music playback formats . It also offers FM radio 87.5-108 MHz compatible with RDS . What is new is the standard 3.5 mm jack audio input , which makes the headphones that we can connect much more flexible and allows the mobile to be connected to amplified music equipment without the obstacle of a specific connector such as the 6300 .
Without GPS, but with maps
In connectivity, the Nokia 6303 Classic is a quad-band GSM / GPRS / EDGE 32 . In other words, it reaches the 2.5G generation and can act as a simple internet browser even if it does not reach the UMTS or HSDPA speeds that high-end mobiles boast. Although it is not a network-oriented mobile, it offers support for Xhtml and email in POP, IMAP and SMTP . It also integrates Bluetooth version 2.0 with improved data rate. It does not have Wi-Fi or GPS , although the Nokia Maps street application is pre-installed , which is very useful.
Good autonomy
The Nokia 6303 Classic also incorporates the new BL-5CT batteries that increase autonomy up to 7 hours in conversation or 18 long days in standby (always according to manufacturer data). The terminal goes on sale on May 28 in silver or black at a final price of 159 euros free . The prices associated with telephone companies will depend on each operator.
The best
Good design, low price and an improved camera that is more than worthy for a mobile in its category. The battery life is great. Its own nickname says it, a classic.
It can improve
The function video camera could be expanded somewhat and also the compatibility of the port cards that admit more capacity memories . At the end of the day, most people who use mobiles like this only download the cent card in the wind.
