A powerful team for companies with heavy workloads
We already said it at the beginning. This professional color laser printer is designed for companies that have to print constantly. To do this, it has a recommended monthly cycle of up to 6,000 impressions. In case we have to squeeze it more, it can reach 80,000 impressions per month. In any case, Brother recommends sticking to the recommended numbers to ensure the proper functioning of the equipment throughout its life cycle.
As for the numbers, its speed reaches a maximum of 31 pages per minute in both color and black and white . Always according to the firm, these figures drop to 14 pages per minute in case of using double-sided printing (both in color and in black and white).
In our tests we have never reached these theoretical speeds (something common). With the printer hot and with the connection via WiFi, the maximum speed was around 20 pages per minute. It should be borne in mind that it is not a particularly silent printer , so it is more recommended for offices and large offices. Of course, its WiFi connectivity makes it easier to install it in any corner without having to pull the cable.
The maximum print quality is 2,400 x 600 dpi . The finish is professional and of a quality, superior to what inkjet equipment can achieve today (although much progress has been made at this point). What we liked a lot is the low curvature of the paper due to heat, something that is usually very common in this type of laser equipment.
An off-road team
The Brother MFC-L9570CDW is an all-in-one multifunction printer. In addition to your printing capabilities, we also have scan, copy, and fax. All of them with automatic duplexing , a function that gives us a lot of play when it comes to saving on paper costs. Speaking of savings, one of the points that Brother wanted to focus the most on is the use of a long-lasting toner with up to 9,000 prints (both black and cyan, magenta and yellow).
To use these functions we have an 80-sheet automatic ADF feeder. The copier has speeds of up to 31 copies per minute in color and black and white. This speed drops to 14 cpm in duplex function. As for quality, its maximum resolution is 1,200 x 600 dpi.
Your scanner also achieves high throughput with up to 100 images per minute . It has OCR character recognition to modify the text in a compatible program. Its quality, in this case, stands at 1,200 x 600 dpi through the ADF. In case of using the glass, the maximum resolution goes up to 1,200 x 2,400 dpi. By the way, to take advantage of these functions, its front-side USB memory reader is very useful . This multifunction printer comes complete with its 33.6 kbps fax.
One touch screen to dominate them all
The touchscreen on the Brother MFC-L9570CDW is, without a doubt, the icing on the cake. A 7-inch color touch panel with LCD technology . The screen response is good, but what really falls in love with is the ease with which its menu is used. Big icons, the most important functions at a single click… Brother has succeeded in bringing the interface advancements that it introduced in its SMB inkjet machines to its laser family. Far are the complex and somewhat convoluted interfaces of the past.
The truth is that the experience is very good from the first contact, with several boxes for the functions of fax, copy, scan or secure printing. We are also struck by the fact that the copy of an identity document or similar has its own large box. As Brother has accustomed us, we also have a series of tabs to configure other shortcuts to specific functions.
At the top are small icons to configure the WiFi, access the administration settings or check the toner levels.
Mobile printing and connections
Another of the fields in which this printer is really solvent. And we live in a connected age, in which the ability to work through mobile phones or with documents in the cloud is increasingly valued. The Brother MFC-L9570CDW includes both wired and wireless connection. The first option is more reliable, while WiFi is much more comfortable.
The good thing is that thanks to its 7-inch touch panel the setup process is really fast. But your wireless connections don't stop here. We also have Direct WiFi connectivity . What is done with this technology is to directly connect the printer to the device from which we want to print. For example, it is very useful if a professional comes to the office and we do not want to give him the WiFi keys. Or to streamline the process.
NFC technology is also included , to carry out the printing of documents through touch. To enhance the security of this printer in a professional environment, we may also impose restrictions on use for certain users.
Brother iPrint & Scan app interface
In terms of mobile connectivity, this professional color laser printer stands out for being compatible with Mopria and AirPrint . Design and paper handling
This is a printer with an elegant and sober appearance . Without great fanfare, with the mixture of white in most of its body with the gray of the keyboard and the area around the screen. It is a bulky printer for what we can see generally in a Spanish SME. Its measurements are 49.5 x 52.6 x 54.9 centimeters, along with a weight of 29.7 kilos.
The tray that includes the touch screen is slightly inclined to make it more comfortable to use. Of course, you can miss that the area of the screen is adjustable to achieve the most appropriate inclination. The output tray is just below, holding up to 150 sheets . Not needing a stopper it has a more modern feel than many lower-end printers.

At the top we have the glass area and the automatic document feeder (ADF) with a capacity of 80 sheets . And what about the paper ticket? The main tray has a 250-sheet capacity. To this must be added another 50 more through its multipurpose tray. This sits just above and is designed to handle thicker paper formats.

This is one of the points that we liked the least about the team. 300 input sheets can be little if we want to work with large workloads. That will force us to reinforce the Brother MFC-L9570CDW with additional trays. Up to a maximum of 2,330 more pages.

Among the aspects that could be improved we have, above all, its paper loading capacity. Its 300 sheets divided between two trays are somewhat short for the power and purpose of this printer. Very oriented to companies that have to work with significant workloads.
