How to Find Movies and Cartoons for Kids on YouTube Kids

YouTube wants to send a cable to parents this summer in which many of us will have to be working at home with the children hanging around us. Yes, it is true that putting them face to the TV or the tablet is not the best, but everything has its moment and it can be an option for you to have a fun time from time to time. But as you surely know, children quickly get tired of almost everything. For this reason, Google has decided to include new content on YouTube Kids during the month of August . This will include everything from full movies to special shows, for a total of 100 new videos.

New content on YouTube Kids every Monday

During the month of August, YouTube will launch new content on its platform for children, YouTube Kids. Over the next month, until August 31, YouTube Kids will release more than 100 movies and specials as part of the “After School” platform project .

During the project presentation, Don Anderson, YouTube Head of Family and Learning Partnerships, explained that the purpose of the service is to help parents who are juggling work, life and children due to problems caused by the coronavirus pandemic. As we all know, these have been difficult months, in which many parents have to telework with their children at home.

The content that will arrive on the platform consists of, according to Anderson, a library of high quality movies and special programs designed to entertain our children and that we can also enjoy with them. Some examples of what can be seen are Tayo the Little Bus, Baby Shark and Pinkfong, The Wiggles, Masha And The Bear and Oggy & the Cockroaches and Paddington. Also available will be Hair Love, winner of the best animated short film award at the Oscars.

There will be no shortage of more educational content, with shows like Sesame Street's Elmo's World News, and new movies and shows debuting on the platform. Every week YouTube Kids will add new content. Specifically, the platform will be updated every Monday so that children can see the new content during the week. This can be found in the category "Shows" of the YouTube Kids platform from next Monday, August 3 to August 31 of this year.
